What are some good curling irons for chinese hair?

It takes HOURS to curl my hair with the one i have right now.

I have thick, straight black hair about medium length

Please try to find one under $30 but list all the ones you think would work for me! Maybe I can persuade my parents to buy a more expensive one =P Thank you!

I'm 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 Viet, so yeah. I don't use a curling iron to curl my hair, I use a flat iron.

The way I do it, I'm in less than ten minutes and it looks great!

I have a Andis multi-heat ceramic Flat Iron which was $15 at Wal-mart. After I curl my hair whatever style I want (Loose, wavy, spiral, etc.), I use hairspray lightly and it lasts the whole day at school. So in the end it looks natural.

By the way, I have STRICT asian stereotype parents and they even bought it for me.

just get a CHI straightener %26amp; use it to curl... those work the best... my friend is japanese%26amp;hawaiin (she has thick hair) and her curls come out really nice with it... but its about $100

ya. im chinese too.. i used to use curling irons.. i gave up after just one tries and nvr used my curling iron since.. cos my hair is like dead straight.. well kinda.. anws.. im gonna get a hair straighener instead this christmas.. so yeh..

CHI is a good one.. or mayb u can go to like walmart or something to get them.. they're cheaper but i heard they last as good.. dont know.. but its better if u get an expensive one and doesnt spoil rather than a cheap one that works badly after like 3 tries...

to curl ur hair with hair straightener, put ur hair into the iron like u would to straighten it.. tilt it 360degrees and pull down.. it will curl.. hope that helps..
