Is it still possible to look good with long hair with my oblong shaped face?

i have read many times (from internet sites) that when u have an oblong shaped face the best hair that suites ur face shape is either short hair (like a bob cut) or medium length hair. btw wut do u consider medium length hair? anyways..i've been contemplating whether to cut my hair ( length is up to my armpits) but i still want to be able to tie my hair.

Are there any long hairstyles that can suite an oblong face shape?

This website appears to be quite helpful-if you click on the link saying "photo gallery of best hairstyles for long face shapes" it shows you some of the longer hairstyles.

I think if you want to have long hair you need layers and probably bangs aswell. You need to add width too your hair so some curls would work. Hope this helps x

There are no really long styles I could think of that suit an oblong face, unless you count those where you put most of your hair up. The longest hair good on oblong faces seems to be shoulder length with lots of layers and hair framing the face. This may not be the answer you wanted, but it's one from a person who, when not overweight, has an oblong face, and has discovered that long hair isn't best, unless it is pinned up with some hanging down, framing the face.

most of those people who say what hair style suits which face shape don't really know how to work around it.

you have an oblong shaped face so i think that your long hair would really suit you if you got choppy layers and maybe even bangs if you don't have them. i know alot of people who used to have naturally long hair and then when they cut it they regreted it heaps.
