i was just curious for those who have used the Remington Wet 2 Dry hair striaghtner, is it any good? It is it ok to use when ur hair is already dry and you want to straighten it? What are the pros and cons?

Also, I have medium length, somewhat thick hair. I want it it to be smooth and frizz-less.

Straightening hair while wet damages your hair which causes it to get dry even frizzier with split ends. Never straighten hair while wet, only when it is 100% dry. If you use it while hair is dry it, the hair straightener will give you moisture because of the steam vents.

Unfortunately any hair straiten that is used on wet hair is horribly damaging. hair should always be 100percent dry before adding heat to it. the outer layer of your hair is called the cuticle. imagine it as a doorway. depending on your porosity that doorway is opened up a little bit to a lot. if your hair is wet on the outside its also wet on the inside. once heat is applied to wet hair it causes the water to boil inside your hair and cause a large amount of damage no matter what any 1 tells u. my best advice is to buy a professional hair straightener such as the Paul Mitchell "the straightener" and use it on dry hair

I have an oval-shaped face with medium-length, thick blonde hair. It has a far side part with a bit of sideswept bangs and otherwise long, face-framing layers. I have blue, ocean-colored eyes. I'm pretty tall and thin, and twelve years old.

People tell me I look pretty, and when I look in the mirror, I think I look okay. But, in pictures I look horrible, and I think my natural look is overall boring. Any suggestions?

it's normal to think you look ugly in pictures, don't worry about it. maybe you need a different hair style, cut it shorter, get a perm, go shopping, get some new clothes, wear some make up. experiment a little. it could just be you're getting bored with the way you are and you need a little chance. (nothing to extreme of course!)

I have a Winter Formal coming up in less than 3 days at my high school and I decided to go with my best friends..

I wouldnt worry till the pup is about 6 to 7 months old thats when they get there adult coats in for sure, give it a bit, he may just need longer to get rid of the puppy fuzz. If not it could just be a bad trait that was genetic and he got it. No worries just if you are showing he could be disqualifed.

Have medium brown hair - need a change?

My hair has recently been colored (I tried to lighten it using a dark blonde dye. It came out a touch lighter, with more red tones - not much of a noticeable change, though.). I'm leaning toward going darker, because the last time my hair was salon lightened, they used bleach. I suggest a bob or a wrap. I have the same problem. I h=just got my hair cut . The great things about wraps are the fact that they are very easy to handle and they help your hair row fast. get some wrap and tap. apply it to your hair (after a perm) an sit under the dryer for 45 minutes to an hour. I know it sounds time consuming but It's worth it. Then, at night, throw it back wit a part in it and tie a scarf around it.simple. Comb it out in the morning. No worries!

after shampooing and conditioning it, get someone to braid it in about 7 or so cornrows ( while its wet) and sit under the dryer or tie it down and in morning take them down and comb your hair with a wide tooth comb. It will have this cute wavy textue. Maybe put a cute headband around it. You'll love it!

If you show her/him the pic in the link, a good hairdresser will already know what it looks like from the back. I think blonde is better for this cut, just because it shows off the piecy layers, but depending on how brown your hair is, it should still be ok. Maybe do partial blonde or golden highlights?

the chi is awesome works on every thivkness of hair but sometimes if your hairs really thick pull up a section of you hair and straighten the part thats not pulled up then take out the pony tail and straighten that part.

ok, i have thick and tight puerto rican curls...

1st of all, it takes forever because you have to do one little strand of hair at a time. Its annoying cuz i have so much hair and its so thick...

2nd, it made my hair really straight for like 2 minutes, and then i noticed that it started to divide itself and it started to get wavy... it looked so dry and ugly... it burned my hair!! and when i washed it off, my hair started falling!!

I can tell you that hair extensions are an enormous headache!! Save your $$, honey and wear a wig. Less expensive and you can simply pull it off when you are tired of it.

If you use glue, it can break your hair. If you do a sew in, you will be bothered by the way it feels because it is not natural, I hear the thread can make your scalp itch.

You are always wondering if it looks right, are the tracks showing and especially when the wind blows.

the best way is not to get hair extensions with glue cause that makes your hair get weak...you need a hair piece that is not a wig, this one is used by all the acteresses and you can put it on and when you dont want it anymore you can take it off. OK this I know....Don't DO IT! the extension glue is bad for your own hair. It will cause your own hair to bond and then break after washing..If you are serious ask about the glue and then ask about the remove part.....Always best to be safe then sorry...Its all glamor for now but think long term.

Try Aussie.. they have this shampoo and conditioner out for greasy roots, dry ends. it works pretty well.. But the most important thing is to get your ends moisturized. Try to apply a serum , leave-in conditioner, or coconut oil ( you can get it at the grocery store). And it will help a lottt. But the best way to get rid of split ends is just to cut it off. And after that, make sure you get a decent haircut every month or so, so that it won't happen again.

First use a "curl enhansing" shampoo, the good brands have a certain mineral that helps, don't use conditioner-it tends to weigh down curls. if you want dramatic curls, than use pin curls. As far as the bangs, I'd use a little product, dry them with a firm brush to one side and then the other to straighten, then use either a big curling iron or a straight iron to smooth.

I have thick wavy brown curly locks too. I use my straitening iron and straiten my hair and then I pull the top layer up and put it in a bun. B ut I leave the rest down. I hope that answers youre question.

Latley, i've seen her wearing her hair in a slack, loose pony tail, with a thin lime green hair band (depends on what colour eyes you have or what type of make up you wear).

Also, having your hair just straight down is good too. But wear a big, flashy clip (not litterally) with it, to give it a gorgeus effect.

all of these girls have hair a bit on the thin side. if you have thick hair, don't expect to get the same look, your stylist may alter it a bit. take two pictures! the more pictures we see, the more confused we get and think that the client does not know for sure what they want. get the to use a razor, especially at the ends to give it that piecey look. so, you might what to go to someone who specializes in razor work. good luck!

Well it sounds like you just want a change right now. I would suggest gettin choppy layers in it and some lowlights or highlights added. So that when you do straighten it wont get as frizzy and it would be cute in a ponytail or a messy bun. If you are unhappy with the quality of straightening your iron does, I recommend getting a quality iron. They are way worth it (coming from someone who pretty much has an afro for hair). If you don't want to straighten your hair anymore, there are certain hair care products that with blow-drying, etc., can help you control your frizzy hair.

How about a cute short bob and just using some mousse to tame the frizz? After you wash your hair, apply mousse (or gel if you like that wet look) to your tresses, and allow to dry naturally.

i'd always reccommend flat ironing, but when im bored of that, i pull out the curling iron. when i've curled my hair, i normally leave the bangs straight, just because they look better that way and i part it on the side. i also buy pretty clips (any drugstore probably has them) that are like bobby pins with little rhinestones on the ends and the side with less hair back. its a change from my normally straight hair and it adds great volume!

another thing i do is if my hair is straight but it looks flat, i take my bangs and some hair in the front, twist it back and then pull it into a medium bun (about an inch from the nape of the neck) the twist looks really cool from the back and it doesnt show how flat my hair is that day!

i also sometimes braid the crown of my hair. basically, you french braid sideways along your hairline and it looks like a headband, and also keeps the hair out of your face!

Please Dont Give Me hair Cut styles....Just Hair styles to go wtih Medium shoulder length layered Hair. Im bored with Streight %26amp; Scrunched Hair. I dont like putting my hair up...and i wear the little poof on top of your head all the time. Sorry if im taking a lot of ideas...actually i really want to do the jessica simpson thing where she like put the curls at the bottem but i try and try and it never turns out right...any tips?i dont have a very thick curler, and I cant go buy one because i want the style by tomorrow and my mom wont take me to get another one....I have the little roller things...but they always turn out wierd too. What am I doing wrong? Anyways...have any styles or tips?? Please help!!

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

HAIR - pull up front hair (bangs) and bobby pin (u've prolly seen this b4) and you could straighten or banana curl it (meens big curls)

MAKE-UP - get some foundation (a little darker than your skin) some pretty maybe black or pink eyeshadow %26amp; put glitter on top (not to much or just looks terrible) a little light pink rosey blush with some light/med. colored lipstick (pink or brown - depends what color of eyeshadow!)

I am thirteen years old, and want a new hair style. I am small for my age (short and skinny). I have very dark brown (not black), and thin/normal hair. my hair is like hers and i cut my hair by myself with a razor blade, to make it have that choppy look. you could do the same if you wanted. just grab top layers of your hair by the end, cut with razorblade with a small up and down motion with pressure. haha if you don't trust yourself, take the pic to a barber. it'll look cute and it suits any face shape.

I use sunsilk shampoo, conditioner and the 24/7 frizz cream (green bottle) that works the best. as for hair styles I think it's cute having it half up or a low side ponytail.

Reason for the frizz: If you wear your hair in pony tails a lot, you need to use things like scrunchies (they dont cause breakage as easily). Also don't brush your hair when its wet. This causes breakage which then causes frizz.

The treatment: Get an Anti breakage shampoo and conditioner. Get Long layers (it helps cut frizz down. Use Suave Professionals (Orange Bottle)

or Matrix sleek.look (suave is cheaper version but the same stuff) smoothing cream and work through hair when wet.

Then either scrunch it (for curls) or pull the sides by your ears back and twist them for a cute look. Also you can get jaws which I swear by. Gather all your hair and then just Clip it back.

WOW beautiful eyes! Yeah I see what you mean. All I have to say about it is she probably had her hair set like that for her picture, and it would be really hard to keep it that way. I do see why. But either way, use a texturizing shampoo and conditioner and blow dry your hair with a round brush to get the volume she has. Get a large barrel curling iron if you don't already have one. A curling creme (Matrix Curl.Life works well) will help hold the curls in place, but so will hair spray (just spray it lightly on each section before you use the iron...comb thru THEN curl). Take 1 or 2 inch sections of hair and wrap them around the curling iron (spiral, not a regular curl) and hold for just a few seconds...you aren't wanting a lot of curl, just a nice strong but separated wave.

I agree with the other Answerers...use hot rollers or a large curling iron, but try using the Redken Heat Set product on your hair to help hold the curls instead of just hairspray. And aloow the curls to cool completely before you touch them. Once they have cooled use your fingers to help pull them out and make them look the way you want. And before you style, use volumizing shampoo and condish...

This is great fo dtraight hair that is hard to curl. This will give you waves like the picture.

Use a large barreled curling iron and take random sections of hair and curl them in the iron for about 10 seconds. Do this to your whole head then shake and use a gel or hairspray. I bet this is close to what Rachel Bilson's stylist did for her.
