How do I do this hairstyle at HOME?

http://photobucket.com/mediadetail/?medi...

I really like it... but I don't know how to do it. I have medium length hair, side bangs, and its really thick. I have these products:

Straightener, crimper, curling iron, hairspray, hairgel, ponytail holders, brushes and combs, etc.. etc.

Most of that style involves the cut. i would try teasing the top later of your hair and leaving the bottom layer of your hair pin straight to create volume. good luck!

This looks like its flat ironed and crimped. First straighten your hair. Then tease the back section of your hair and hairspray. Then comb the top so it looks smooth but do this without brushing out the tease. Then you can crimp your hair where its supposed be wavy.

dont wash ur hair a lot!

keep the natural oils.

okay, hair is dry, straighten until it is SUPER straight.

then part ur bangs and well how ever u want it to be parted. then TEASE like CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hairspray a LOT!!!!!!!

then TEASE, TEASE, TEASE!!!!!!!!

but the top part only, not the bottom.

when u have it the desired look, restraighten the bottom/under hairs.

the viola, it should look like the pic.

-wash your hair and when it's towel dried/damp, put some gel in it and smooth it around your hair.

-blow dry it

-straighten it

-brush the back so it's part of your part and kind of goes back in it's own direction (like in the pic)

-hair spray the back, then kind of pump it up with your hands

-keep doing so until you have it the way you want it

Ok! SO the first thing to do would be to take that picture to a hair stylist, and ask then to cut it so that when you get home you can style it as such.

THEN!

You need to have your mousse, comb, hairbrush, Hair straightner, and Hair Spray, Hair Dryer, Clips(if you don't have clips, pony holders will do.)In front of you.

First your hair needs to be damp(Like towel dried hair).

Take ALL but the bottom layer of hair, and put it up in clips, seperate with a comb's end if possible.

Then, take the Brush and brush the hair out with some tension, Pull from the end of the hair.

Then take the Hair dryer and blow dry DOWN the shaft of hair, until the hair is mostly, or fully dry.

Then take the flat iron(straightener), and slowly pull it down the hair. Just a hint, when your straghtnening the hairmake it almost as if you want to curl the hair out a little bit so that it is kind of looks seperated ends.

Then take down the next layer of hair (since your hair is medium length, you can do the layer in 3's so that you repeat the process 3 times), and repeat the process.

Make sure you do the Hair seperating thingy on the bangs, it really makes it look nice. So As soon as you have straightened all your hair, flip your head upside down and take a little mousse and work it into your hair.

Then flip your head back up and comb your hair down, Then if you want it to stay well, take the hairspray and give your hair a little spritz.

I Hope I helped!

XOXO
