i am getting highlights today for the first time ever..i have straight medium length dark brown hair with no bangs.......what color highlight does anyone recommend?? nothing drastic please!

I would reccomend some light brownish highlights not too blonde, or it may look to 'in your face' if you know what i mean.

carmal colours usually look pretty good dont go for blond what ever you do it ususally looks tacky light browns are good Good luck!!!!

Light brown will look best I think blond is too drastic. I also like plum color, that looks good too or red .
