How can i acheive a loose/curly hairstlyle?

Hi, i have straight, fine hair just below my shoulders, i don't know if i should use rollers or a curling iron to get this look..

oh yes you can definately achieve this style

use a curling iron, and curl some of your hair, but dont curl it too much, just really lightly. try to lightly curl the ends.

if your hair is strong, then do that.^^

but if your hair doesnt stay very long when you curl it, just curl it normally, and it will come out that way.

use curlers then just play with it when you take the curlers out. If you feel the need to use a curling iron then go ahead but have fun and the best of luck.

Okay that IS do-able.

1.Wash your hair and condition.

2.Towel dry your hair as dry as you can get it.

3.Twist four buns to your head.(ONe on each side of your head. Two in the back)

4.Secure with bobbybins.

5.Squirt in hairspray.

6.Go to sleep.

7.Un pin the buns.

8.Add texturiving gel(scrunchying)

9.Enjoy

This is great fo dtraight hair that is hard to curl. This will give you waves like the picture.

Use a large barreled curling iron and take random sections of hair and curl them in the iron for about 10 seconds. Do this to your whole head then shake and use a gel or hairspray. I bet this is close to what Rachel Bilson's stylist did for her.

Of course it won't look exactly like the picture because your hair is a little shorter and finer but I have the same type of hair as you and it works great on me. Good luck!

You don't even have to get as complicated as the rollers or the curling irons.Get out of the shower, while your hair is wet, flip your head upside down, and use either styling gel or mousse and just scrunch it. When finished, apply some hair spray and it should stay. =]
