Is long hair on females outdated and out of style?

My hair is fairly long (to the small of my back), thick, straight and naturally healthy...I don't really have to do much to it.

Nowadays, all I see is medium to short length hair. Is that because long hair is out of style or is it because most people find long hair to be a pain to take care of? Do you like long hair?

I prefer long hair. It is harder to manage, but worth it. If you notice, most models and A list celebrities have longer hair, so it is not out of style. I have found that most men prefer a woman to have long hair too. ;)

i really love long hair since its very cute and pretty. yes, it can be a pain to take care of, but its still looks cute. also, u can do so many styles with long hair. u should def. keep ur hair long!!! and its always in fasion

i love long hair, but my wife has told me on several occassions that long hair is much harder to take care of and that she doesnt have the time to do what she wants with it in the mornings...................... i believe she would have long hair otherwise

i think long hair will always be in style. it is the classic. maybe if you cut it a little shorter, it'd be easier to manage. keep in mind that with short hair you can only have one style.

No, and neither is long hair on males. It's all a matter of what you think you want to put up with and can get away with. I still have a ponytail, but I put it in my desk drawer for safe keeping. (Actually, my scalp would not permit me anything but half inch long hair.)

That's why people buy extensions now.

The problem is people don't have the money.

They try to get that layered look %26amp; they straighten their hair to much so it gets fried.

They constantly get split ends so they have to keep trimming %26amp; cutting.

That explains the short layers.

That's why most girls have short hair.

Long hair is hair that is about mid-back length. After that is excessive. :P Hair to the middle of your back attracts attention, but hair that is to your butt seems like it would just detract from the overall appearance of YOU. you know?

Guys really like long hair in general, and I wouldn't say it's out of style at all.
