Do you have an Idea for a hair style?

I have thick, medium length, brown-black hair that is layered. I dont have any ideas on how to style it though. I need something that wont take more than five minutes in the morning.

Ive tried Braiding it but since its layered it doesnt work too well...and Sometimes I put it up with a clip but I want more of a variety that shows Character and is Appropriate for my age...which is 18.

thick hair;5 minutes. you need some texturizing or inside layers done so it can at least be blown dry in 5 minutes.

Shave your head and butt and glue the butt hair to your head.

You should put your hair up college-style (the top half of your hair in a pony), leaving a strand on one side in the front. This helps frame the face, and you'll be left with some hair down as well, so it doesn't look as plain as a simple ponytail. You can also scrunch the hair in your ponytail up, or make it a bun. If you have a curling iron, you can do just a simple high ponytail and curl some of the strands. If you don't have bangs then it's always cute to take about an inch-thick wide lock of hair from the very top-front of your hair. you can twist the lock of hair and secure it at the top-back of your head. I don't know if you could quite comprehend what I meant by that last one, but if you could, then I'm glad. Good luck!

If you want something that's typically "get up and go" - you're better off going to your local hairstylist and getting a Thermal Straightener - it's permanent and a little pricy - but definitely worth it - If you want a curly look - try Velcro rollers the night before - when you wake up - take them down - spritz with mousse and go - if you want straight hair - try a straightening shampoo until you get the thermal. Make use of chopsticks for a sexy pony or a bun - Your local Sally Beauty has great hair accessories you can use to get creative. Try it!

Flip head over, gel and scrunch it. Then let it air dry. Almost never goes wrong!
