How do i get curls to stay in without a hole can of hairspray!?

i have medium length hair. i straighten it. but i would like to change it up and curl it for once.

the curls wont stay with out hair spray.

then when i use hair spray its like the curls are cemented in! they wont move at all.

i need ideas on how to get the curls to stay in. look pretty. and bouncy ***NOT HARD***

use aquanet hairspray. it's what they used in the 80's to make their hair so big! you don't have to use it that way obviously, but it works well to keep a style for a long time.

there are different types of holds but extra super hold should do it for ya. if it's too stiff, try a slightly more flexible hold aquanet. you can probably find it at cvs or walgreens.

i have straight hair but curl them with ghds they seem to stay in pretty well with a light spray of good old elnette....very light and brushes out easy this is one of the only light sprays hope that helps honey x

you should go to the barnour and get a permanant one but i think it will stay like that forever. my mom did it and she changed it a few times and know her hair isn't that nice as it use to be.
